Sika® ViscoCrete®-2002 HE may be combined with many other Sika® Products.

It is compatible with all types of ordinary Portland cement, PPC, PSC and cement replacement materials.

Important: Always conduct trials before combining products in specific mixes and contact our Technical Service Department for information about specific combinations.

Sika® ViscoCrete®-2002 HE can be added into the mixing water or directly into the concrete mixer after 50 – 70% of the mixing water has been added.

The addition of Sika® ViscoCrete®-2002 HE to dry aggregate or cement is not recommended.

To achieve optimum performance a minimum wet mixing time, which is depending on the mixing conditions and the mixer performance, of 60 seconds is recommended.

CICO TAPECRETE P-151, popularly known as TAPECRETE is an acrylic based Polymer Modified Cementitious Flexible Composite coating system. 1.8 kg / m² in two coats to achieve 1 mm thickness. 3.6kg / m² in three coats to achieve 2mm thickness. Recommended thickness of 2mm DFT.

• All surfaces to be waterproofed should be sound, clean and dry and free of any lataince, grease and oil, dirt and other loose materials.
• Concrete surfaces should have a light steel-trowel followed by a fine hair-broom or equivalent finish which is dry and free of dust, oil and other contaminants. All protrusions to be removed to level the surface.
• Algae and fungi must be removed physically followed by treatment with Dr. Fixit Bioclean to eradicate any spores and to inhibit further growth. After treatment leave for 2-3 hrs and then wash down thoroughly with clean water and allow to dry completely.
• All metal surfaces to be coated should be made clean of paint, rust and other contaminants. abrade to expose bright metal then wipe clean with solvent to remove any grease or oil stains.

• Prepare the surface thoroughly by cleaning, washing and removing dust, dirt, oil, grease and loose particles.
• Ensure that the roof slope is a minimum of 1 in 100 to enable the water runoff.
• In existing old terraces such as brickbat-coba or screeds, the substrate must be checked for its soundness. Damaged or hollow portions, sharp edges, etc. must be cut and repaired with a polymer-modified screed. Surface cracks must be filled with Dr. Fixit Crack-X or polymer-modified mortar in case of wider cracks.
• Bitumen based waterproofing treatments must be completely removed by mechanical scarification or by any other effective mechanical means.

• Apply one coat of Dr. Fixit Primeseal (diluted with water in the ratio 2:1) at the rate of 8 -10 sqm/ liter. Allow it to dry for 2-3 hours.
• Apply the first coat of Dr. Fixit Newcoat at the rate of 2 sqm per litre and allow it to dry before taking up the second coat, Apply second coat of Dr. Fixit Newcoat perpendicular to 1st Coat with same application rate.
• Minimum drying time between coats will be 4 to 6 hours.
• Use the final coat of Dr. Fixit Newcoat Cool as the reflective coat with same application coverage.
• Allow the system to air cure for 7 days minimum.

• All corners, gaps, joints, protrusions & outlets shall be coated with the extra coat.
• Do not apply during rains; substrate MUST be in dry condition for application of primer.
• The product is designed only for light foot traffic and not vehicular or movement of machinery or equipment.
• To achieve the full proof waterproofing, all parapet walls should be covered with Newcoat coool.
